Ikan Bakar

This recipe is specially for Jane. Hope you enjoy it.

5 tablespoon oil
2 teaspoon chili powder
5 kaffir leaves
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1 whole fish
Banana leaf for wrapping
Aluminium Foil for wrapping

Spice Paste
5 candlenut
1cm galangal root
2 stalk lemongrass
6 red chilies
3 oinions
1 scant belacan
1//2 cup water

1. Grind spice paste. Heat oil n stir fry the spice paste
2. Preheat oven 200C , Rub the cooled paste over the fish,
3. Cut the banana leaf, brush with oil , place the fish on the banana leaf n folt into package. Wrap the banana leaf package again into aluminium foil n seal the end. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 min on each side, or till cooked.  Serve the fish with a few drop of lemon juice.
